I have used many post systems, including the previous generation of FibreKleer. I was anxious to try FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts as they became available. I immediately noticed the difference. Independent testing has shown that FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts have a radiopacity of up to 400% of aluminum. In my experience, that has translated into the best radiographic visibility of any fiber post system I have tried. Recently, I saw a patient with a badly broken down central incisor. Core Strength

The main job of a post is to retain the core buildup and to help preserve the integrity of remaining tooth structure. That requires strength and flexibility, both of which FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts offer. Pentron has developed a proprietary combination of resin and fiber to obtain these physical properties. FibreKleer 4x Fiber Posts have a flexural modulus similar to that of natural dentin. As a result, they flex with the tooth and transmit stress evenly along the root structure, with the goal of reducing the incidence of future root fractures. The posts also integrate with the core material, the cement, and the root to create a monoblock? a single structure for maximum strength and retention. Additionally, FibreKleer 4X Fiber Posts come in 3 body designs (parallel, tapered, and original) and 3 sizes (from 1 to 1.5 mm). That?s 9 configurations total to choose from, so I can fit the post to the tooth, and not vice versa. I like the convenience of color-coding the posts and offering corresponding drills as well.
