Tried and True: Microbrush X
Since its introduction in 2003, Microbrush X extended-reach applicators have become an industry standard for accessing hard-to-reach areas.
Building on the success of the original Microbrush applicator, Microbrush X is designed with a thinner, longer brush tip to simplify application for procedures involving confined spaces such as bonding posts, inlay, onlay cementation, and subgingival application.
Microbrush X allows for an even placement of material, and the shorter, stiffer brush fibers hold a fraction of a drop of material for less waste and controlled application. The patented bendable portion of the applicator bends firmly to 90 degrees to help increase precision and access for the clinician.
How It Works
Microbrush X family of applicators are made with small, nonlinting and nonabsorbent fibers. The applicator tip holds material in suspension between the fibers that stays in place. Microbrush brand applicators minimize material waste because of the applicator?s capacity to suspend and place solution.
An Indispensable Dispenser
In addition to its compact, stackable design, the Microbrush dispenser is manufactured with silver ion technology that is designed to penetrate the cell wall of bacteria and disrupt key cell functions suppressing bacteria growth on the dispenser.
Each package contains 100 applicators, and the dispenser is designed to release one disposable applicator at a time. When used without the dispenser, the package sleeve holds and protects applicators.
The Extended Family
In addition to Microbrush and Microbrush X, Microbrush International offers a number of applicator solutions to handle any clinical situation. The UltraBrush combines the precision of a smaller bristle brush with patented ?Stay Put Bending Portion? for ease of use. The Flowthru applicator has been designed to replace traditional metal tip applicators, with an emphasis on material saving, ease of use, safety, and patient comfort.
Versatility for Any Procedure
The full line of Microbrush brand disposable applicators can be used for applying and removing materials such as cements, etchants, sealants, bonding agents, hemostatic solutions, and conditioners. The bendable body and extra-long tip allow the clinician to access confined spaces, making it easy to use in any situation.
The applicators are manufactured with pearlescent resins and are available in a variety of colors to help the clinician easily identify multistep procedures.
