Crosstex Launches Its Barrier Film with Finger Lift Edge

The barrier film is easy to grasp and place with its nonadhesive border, especially while wearing gloves.

Crosstex, one of the world's leading infection prevention and control entities, reintroduces its latest surface barrier product, Barrier Film with Finger Lift Edge.

The Barrier Film with Finger Lift Edge is a disposable film to cover areas/surfaces that are hard to reach, clean or disinfect. The unique 3/16-inch non-adhesive Finger Lift Edge allows for quick, easy placement and removal of the barrier film without sticking to fingers or gloves. The light tack adhesive easily attaches to surfaces without leaving residue.

The product reduces the risk of cross contamination caused by airborne aerosols, splash and spatter. Splash, spatter and aerosol surfaces comprise all surfaces in the operatory not touched by staff or contaminated by instruments. Examples include dental chairs, x-ray heads, view boxes, and unused countertop areas.

The Barrier Film with Finger Lift Edge comes in two colors, blue or clear. Each roll contains 1200 4x6-inch sheets. —Julie Schmitt
