Developed with the Ad Council and the Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives?the Kids' Healthy Mouths campaign uses humorous PSAs to motivate kids and parents to take care of their teeth. The new site, www.2min2x.org, features 2 minute cartoons that kids can watch while brushing. In addition, the site features oral health educational materials for parents.
"Dental decay is the most common chronic disease of childhood and the mouth is the gateway to a person's overall health. Together, we can all work to help consumers live a healthier life," says Pamela J Tolson, Executive Director of the AAPHD.
With the campaign set to hit TV, radio, print, web, and social media, the AAPHD aims to make a widespread, positive impact on children's oral health.
