We all agree that we?re hearing only one side of the story, but some folks feel sympathetic toward Dr. Shelburne and question the actions of law enforcement and the legal system, while others found Dr. Shelburne?s demeanor in the interview to be somewhat dismissive of the final judgment against him. The takeaway appears to be that dental professionals (and probably all medical professionals) should document a heck of a lot more than they do. Not a bad idea for a lot of reasons.
We would love to hear from you about this interview. What do you think about Dr. Shelburne?s experience? What are your policies with regard to documentation?
