The oral-systemic link connected the head back to the body, and I know hygienists have been educating their patients on this since that report came out. How exciting that prevention is now at the forefront and hygienists can step from the shadows and become the prevention specialists we are trained to be.
What products have you introduced into your practice to guide towards prevention and minimally invasive treatment? How did you present this information to your employer that allowed you to integrate this product/technology into your practice?
