HemCon Wound Dressing

HemCon Wound Dressing

Zimmer Dental

HemCon enables rapid, suture-free wound sealing, hemostasis, and healing.

Zimmer Dental calls HemCon “a significant step forward in extraction and oral wound care,” enabling rapid sealing of the wound bed without the need for primary closure. The selfadhesive dressing is made of chitosan, a naturally occurring, biocompatible polysaccharide that stabilizes the clot and permits natural healing.

Hemostasyl

Kerr introduces Hemostasyl—a highly effi cient hemostatic agent that stops bleeding with precision and ease. When moderate bleeding occurs and gingival retraction is not required, Hemostasyl is an ideal choice.

PerioZone PerioPatch

MIS Implant’s PeriZone PerioPatch was created to act as a barrier and relief from the signs and symptoms of oral inflammation and trauma. The patch absorbs wound exudates, and in turn promotes natural healing.

Racegel Hemostatic Agent

Septodont introduces Racegel, a hemostatic agent that controls bleeding during crown seating and perio scaling and absorbs crevicular fluid prior to and during impression taking.

Reso Pac

Hager Worldwide’s Reso-Pac is an adhesive cellulose-based dressing that is an ideal healing aid for implantology, prosthetics, and periodontology.

Traxodent

Hemostasis and Retraction in One

Premier Dental Introduces Traxodent

Traxodent offers fast, easy, effective hemostasis and retraction.

Premier Dental introduces Traxodent, a Hemodent Paste Retraction System that provides predictable hemostasis and soft-tissue management in minutes.

ViscoStat Clear

Because ViscoStat Clear is viscous but spreadable, it allows for better placement and control.

Ultradent recently introduced ViscoStat Clear to the dental profession. The manufacturer calls this the next generation of aluminum chloride hemostatic agents. It was designed to stop minor bleeding and sulcular fluid quickly without leaving a residue.
