Composi-Tight 3D combines Soft-Faced 3D rings and Slick Bands for an easy-to-use, effective matrix system.

The Composi-Tight 3D Sectional Matrix System with Slick Bands from Garrison Dental Solutions is easily recognizable with its bright orange Soft-Faced ring tips and color coded matrix bands. The bright orange is a soft silicone that allows the tips of the rings to hug the matrix band tightly against the tooth, virtually eliminating buccal and lingual flash.

However, the ring is still strong enough to provide the required tooth separation that produces tight interproximal contacts. The colored coating on the inside of the matrix band prevents bonding agents from sticking. Slick Bands are significantly easier to remove than regular bands. The combination of microthin coating and ultrathin dead-soft stainless steel yields a band that is still only .0015-in thick. The precontoured band remains burnishable for the optimum in customized contacts.
