Double-Wedge

The Double-Wedge is the world's first “pull” wedge. It can be used with most matrix band systems and is remarkably versatile.

The wedge is stretched then “flossed” into the embrasure before cavity preparation and matrix placement. The wedge is shaped to minimize trauma. It has uses as a gingival and rubber dam protector in Class II restoration, as a hemostatic agent on interproximal tissue, as a wedge for matrix bands, as a tooth separator, and as a tool for maintaining a dry field. Double-Wedges are sold in packs of 64.
