E4D Dentist, from D4D Technologies, was designed with the patient and operator in mind. D4D involved dentists in the development of the E4D system, resulting in an easy-to-use product and process that can increase the dentist’s productivity and provide convenience for patients.
The E4D Dentist system offers accuracy, versatility, and ease of use by providing the operator with the ability to fabricate inlays, onlays, veneers, and full contour crowns in a single visit. The E4D IntraOral Digitizer high-speed LASER scanner takes a digital impression of the preparation and neighboring teeth to create a 3D image without the use of contrast agents. The operator can scan intraorally or on a model or impression. Convenient Rapid Scan mode responds to motion to activate the scanner, without the use of a foot pedal. The E4D Design Center, powered by DentaLogic software, guides the operator from scanning to milling. The graphical interface, familiar workflow, and dentist-designed tools can edit and complete up to 16 units per case.
The E4D Milling Center receives designs from the DentaLogic software through a wireless connection and fabricates restorations from a variety of reliable materials. The Milling Center’s heavy-duty design reduces vibration for high-level accuracy and material performance.
