Patterson Releases Eaglesoft Version 16

The new Eaglesoft Version 16 from Patterson Dental delivers a more streamlined experience with greater customization.

Patterson Dental announces the newest version of its Eaglesoft practice management software. Eaglesoft Version 16 comes with a host of new features designed to make using the software and running a practice much easier.

One of the most important updates to the program is the new line-item accounting feature, which allows the user to apply a payment directly to a specific line item. This method is an excellent way to group services and payments that are related, making the user’s account ledger easier to manage. As a result, the user can see at a glance where the account and patient balance is coming from, line by line, as well as see which services have been paid in full.

Patterson has made a number of user interface upgrades as well. The new customizable windows and dockable panels now let the user choose how much information to display on the Account, Appointment, and OnSchedule windows, as well as where to place the information within those windows. The Patient Bar lets the user quickly access patient specific information from a toolbar with customizable icons.

To help streamline the practice, Eaglesoft now has the ability to process a walkout for all family members at once when they are all in the office on the same day—all on 1 receipt. With OnSchedule, the user can change time units on the fly, easily check a provider’s schedule at a glance, and even close an entire day at once. —Bob Alaburda
