Placing a matrix band and obtaining a good contact point after excavation for class II fillings is often a time-consuming and painstaking procedure. FenderMate, from DIRECTA AB, offers a unique solution by combining a wedge and matrix in its design for fast and efficient restorations.

Featuring a preshaped contact and a flexible wing that separates the teeth and firmly seals the cervical margin, FenderMate inserts as easily and rapidly as a wedge. With its optimal matrix curvature, matrix and wedge are inserted as one and can be placed in only 5 seconds—ready for restoration, no ring needed. The unique wedge design with collapsing wing accommodates most approximal spaces.

The combined use of FenderWedge and FenderMate sets a new standard with a tissue-friendly approach for the preparation and filling of Class II cavities. FenderWedge protects the adjacent tooth and separates the teeth, creating a perfect contact point, while FenderMate aids fast and efficient restorations.
