Pentron’s FibreKleer 4X fiber posts are strong, esthetic, and highly radiopaque.
Pentron Clinical recently introduced its new FibreKleer 4X fiber posts. FibreKleer 4X fiber posts feature superior radiopacity of up to 400% of aluminum to help ensure that they are instantaneously identified on a radiograph. Translucent glass fibers bundled in a proprietary clear resin matrix provide outstanding flexural strength and help to preserve the natural lifelike esthetics that are desired with all-ceramic restorations.
FibreKleer 4X fiber posts are engineered with a flexural modulus that is similar to dentin. The ability of the post to flex with the tooth and transmit stress more evenly along the remaining root structure helps to drastically minimize the instance of root fractures compared to metal posts. This results in a post that safely retains core build-ups while preserving the integrity of the remaining tooth structure.
To help streamline drill and post selection, all FibreKleer 4X fiber posts are color-coded to coordinate with the corresponding drill. The posts are available in 3 body designs—Parallel with a retentive head, Tapered, and Original—allowing clinicians to choose the type of post that best suits each individual case. —Bob Alaburda
