KaVo Dental proudly introduces the new GENTLEray 980
soft-tissue diode laser that delivers excellent clinical results
and outstanding ease of use with the handpiece design you
know and trust from KaVo.
The 980 nm wavelength provides a combination of clean cutting
and excellent hemostasis in a range of soft-tissue indications. The
well-balanced, patented KaVo handpiece provides individual adjustment
of the fiber length in combination with excellent touch and
feel. The direct fiber running through the handpiece ensures the
maximum transmission of laser energy reaches the treatment point.
The GENTLEray 980 is available in 2 versions; Classic and
Premium. The Classic is the perfect starter unit for new laser users
while the Premium, available first quarter 2008, is equipped with
additional features such as a water cooling handpiece and
GENTLEpulse micro-pulse technology. The Classic unit can be easily
upgraded to the Premium version.
FDA-cleared indications for the GENTLEray 980 include incision,
excision, biopsy, hemostasis of donor sites, and numerous other specific
indications for soft-tissue procedures.
