Keystone’s HB VPS is ideal for most 1- or 2-step cases and is available in a number of viscosity and setting time options.
Keystone Industries just released its full line of premium vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impression materials, HB VPS and HB Bite Registration. According to the manufacturer, HB VPS tray impression materials are indicated for virtually any 1- or 2-step impression technique. HB Bite Registration provides a tough, precise occlusal record that resists compression and bounce-back during articulation.
Available in light, medium, and heavy body viscosities, HB VPS tray materials are highly hydrophilic for precision models, even in multiple pours. This helps to ensure an accurate impression, making for a positive experience for both the dentist and patient. When using HB VPS or HB Bite Registration, clinicians can choose between one of 2 setting speeds—regular and fast-set, which allows the dentist to work at his or her own pace. Each viscosity of HB VPS is available in a convenient 50-mL cartridge. —Julie Schmitt
