Evolve Dental Technologies recently introduced its new Dual Accelerated, Tri-Barrel Hydremide Peroxide technology—reducing in-offi ce whitening time by 50% and lowering the cost to the practice. Developed by Dr. Rod Kurthy, whitening science expert and founder of Evolve Dental Technologies, the KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching System is the fi rst of its kind to use a tri-barrel design to keep whitening gel chemistry separated into 3 barrels until it’s ready for use. The tri-barrel design made it possible for Evolve to develop the Hydremide Peroxide formulation, which has resulted in the ability to create desirable whitening gel chemical and physical properties that have never been seen before. The increased effectiveness of this new formulation has led to reduced whitening time and cost.
The KöR Whitening System has set itself apart from other systems in many ways, including the refrigeration of its full line of whitening products from manufacture until they are received by the dental practice.
Critical to the KöR Whitening System are the unique KöR Deep Bleaching Trays, which seal whitening gel in and damaging saliva and sulcular fl uid out. When combined with slow-release KöR at-home gel, these trays provide 6+ hours of active whitening instead of the typical 25 to 35 minutes. The trays can be fabricated by dental offi ce staff or at the KöR Laboratory.
KöR Whitening Systems, which include Max, Standard, Max Ultra, KöR-Night, and KöR-Day, are effective for everyone—from average patients to those with tetracycline stains.
