The NobelReplace Conical Connection combines a tapered body with the strength of an internal conical connection.
New from Nobel Biocare, the NobelReplace Conical Connection offers the strong, tight fit of the conical connection on the original tapered implant body, combining the tried and true NobelReplace implant body with an advanced internal conical connection and platform shifting to help achieve healthy soft tissue. The internal conical connection with hexagonal interlocking offers a tight seal and high mechanical strength, and the platform shifting is designed to increase soft-tissue volume for natural-looking esthetics.
The NobelReplace Conical Connection offers excellent restorative flexibility as it is suitable for use with prefabricated abutments, as well as individualized CAD/CAM NobelProcera abutments. It uses the same standardized drilling protocol as all NobelReplace and Replace Select tapered implants, including the same surgery kit and color-coded instruments, so there is no need to learn or adjust to a new drilling procedure.
The original tapered implant mimics the shape of a natural tooth root, and it is designed for high initial stability for placement in both extraction sockets and healed sites. —Bob Alaburda
