PaX-Primo and PaX-Primo(i)

Pax-Primo features Adaptive layer Mode Panoramic Tomography (AMPT) that automatically selects the best images, without the clinician having to worry about patient positioning or untypical patient arch. PaX-Primo(i), also from Vatech America uses an optional Automatic Layer Selection Algorithm functionality to produce optimal digital diagnostic images with Vatech’s proprietary Area Adaptive Mode (AAM) solution. This technology allows the unit to capture and instantly process multiple oral trough layers during a single panoramic scan to produce a clear, high-quality picture. It provides the clinician with a final diagnostic image by selecting the optimal single layer in different regions of the image, minimizing image distortion in every panoramic image taken.

Both models are small and compact. PaX-Primo is designed to fit in the standard X-ray room with no additional space required. The 10.4-in LCD touch panel allows the clinician to operate the unit next to the patient or detach it for use outside of the X-ray room. PaX-Primo’s LCD touch-screen makes it easy for the clinician to handle patient positioning, make a capturing mode selection, and store images.
