Denterprise International's QuickRay Sensor
QuickRay embeds all electronics directly in the sensor and requires only a simple USB connection to the computer.
The QuickRay sensor from Denterprise International has embedded electronics located in the sensor case, eliminating the need for a controller box; simply connect the replaceable cable via its USB connector to the computer and take x-rays. The sensor is easy to position, and it has rounded corners and smooth edges for increased patient comfort. The clinician can view x-rays in less than 3 seconds with the USB 2.0 High Speed Mode.
Available in size #1 (children) and size #2 (adults), QuickRay consistently delivers high-quality, high-resolution images. The thin (less than 1/4-in) intraoral sensors include a CMOS image sensor chip, CsI Scintillator, electronic circuits, shielding foils, and shock absorbers. The sensor assembly consists of tough polyamide housings and have durable replaceable polyurethane cables with ergonomically placed connectors.
Natively, QuickRay works with a wide assortment of imaging software for both PC and Mac systems, including MacPractice. For those who have DEXIS, Eaglesoft, Schick by Sirona, Carestream, and other proprietary software, QuickRay works via TWAIN. The QuickRay sensor comes with a standard 2-year manufacturer's warranty, and a 5 year warranty plan is also available. 'Bob Alaburda
