SDI now offers Riva Self Cure in a high-viscosity formulation called Riva Self Cure HV. Available in capsules, Riva Self Cure HV provides clinicians with the option of a high-viscosity, packable glass ionomer restorative that is easy to shape and contour. A bioactive material that offers caries prevention, Riva Self Cure HV is indicated for use in minimally invasive dentistry.
Following suit with SDI’s other glass ionomer products, Riva Self Cure HV features ionglass filler. Using SDI’s proprietary ionglass technology, Riva Self Cure HV is fluoride releasing to aid in remineralization.
With Riva Self Cure HV, clinicians need not worry about volumetric shrinkage following curing as the glass ionomer restorative is resin-free. In addition, Riva Self Cure HV features exceptional marginal adaptation and a very low acid erosion value.
Riva Self Cure HV has uses in a variety of applications. The glass ionomer restorative features high compressive strength, making it ideal for dentin replacement.
