Orascoptic introduces the first prescription and bifocal sports frames.
Developed in tandem with world-famous Italian sunglass maker Rudy Project, Orascoptic just released RydonX and RaveX, the first sports frames that accommodate a complete line of loupe magnifications, as well as a wide range of eyeglass prescriptions—including bifocals.
Improving on Orascoptic’s current Rydon frame, the RydonX features less lens curvature for large prescriptions and biofocals. The RaveX has a petite design to complement smaller face shapes. Both feature an adjustable nose pad and temple tips for a comfortable fit on the nose and ears. The frames also sport flex hinges on the temple arms and a rigid bridge to reduce “double vision.” Head strap and side shields provide the clinician with protection and comfort.
Available in 6 colors and compatible with all Orascoptic telescopes from 2.5x to 4.8x magnifi cation, RydonX and RaveX frames can be cleaned and sanitized for maximum asepsis. —Bob Alaburda
