Implant Center 2: the 3-in-1 unit that combines precision, visibility, comfort, and selective cutting for pre-implant surgery.
Developed by SATELEC, ACTEON’s Implant Center 2 is a single unit that can perform all dental surgery applications. Its elegant design, convex shape, and large touch-sensitive screen make it an ideal device dedicated to bone surgery.
Implant Center 2 has 3 modes. Piezotome mode facilitates and improves the safety of pre-implant surgical procedures. Due to the ultrasonic frequencies (28-36kHz), Implant Center 2 in Piezotome mode cuts bone with exceptional power and speed, but will not damage soft tissue. For conventional treatment, Newtron mode allows the use of more than 70 tips for periodontology, endodontics, scaling, and prosthodontics. Each tip is identified by a colored ring to simplify selection of the power setting recommended for each procedure. The I-Surge micro-motor system provides constant torque and steady high-performance, even in lower revolution ranges. With a range of 100 to 40,000 rpm, it offers the widest revolution range in its class.
Each program has easily customizable settings for ultrasonic power, speed rotation, contra-angle, irrigation, torque, and more. The Piezotome 2 and Newtron LED handpieces feature a long-life light ring consisting of 6 ultra-powerful LEDs for optimal vision of the operative field. Its progressive footswitch allows the adjustment of required power in real time according to the anatomical constraints encountered. —Bob Alaburda
