The STA System is an innovative, clinically proven way to

The STA (Single Tooth Anesthesia) System technology
uses computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery
to enhance the injection process for both the
dentist and the patient. PDL injections can be administered
more precisely and with less stress because STA
provides audio and visual confirmation of proper needle
placement and controls the flow of anesthetic.
STA increases the dentist’s success administering the block—
proper technique prevents needle deflection—improving
the dentist’s ability to inject into the block the first time.

needle assembly. The STA System provides
real-time visual and audible feedback
via patented CompuFlo with
Dynamic Pressure Sensing technology.
The STA System allows: (1) precise
administration of a pain-free, intraligamentary
injection to anesthetize a single
tooth in 1 or 2 minutes; (2) exact
location of the needle point directly targeting
the periodontal ligament to avoid
collateral numbing; and (3) precise exit
pressure of the anesthetic as it is
injected into tissues of varying density.
