Tokuyama Corporation, the parent company of Tokuyama America, was one of the first manufacturers to develop a silicone denture reline material. Before the development of the company’s Sofreliner S (soft) and Sofreliner MS (medium soft) in 1999, the only soft reline material on the market had been a powder-liquid form of tissue conditioner that lasted just 4 to 8 weeks once placed in the mouth.
