Lightweight stainless steel construction allows for strength and durability and provides superior resistance to handling damage compared with those constructed of plated brass or anodized aluminum. The scalloped handle design eliminates the grooves where debris and bacteria are most often harbored, permitting precise, nonslip grip control and reducing handpiece presterilization scrubbing and cleaning preparation time.
