The V3 Matrix features a pronounced roll on the top edge that takes the difficulty out of creating the marginal ridge. It also has an S-shaped vertical contour that provides close anatomical replication of the proximal surface and allows the matrix to slide past the gingival margin—rather than buckling on the edge.
