As the ViziLite Plus with TBlue630 becomes the standard of care for early detection of oral abnormalities that could lead to cancer, Zila Pharmaceuticals continues to enhance the oral lesion identification system by now featuring Pearlescent retractors. In response to dentists’ feedback regarding the successful oral detection device, the new retractors focus more light on the oral cavity and block light from shining directly back at the clinician. An already reliable adjunct to the conventional head and neck examination, ViziLite Plus is a quick, painless exam that focuses on the key to cancer prevention—early detection.
ViziLite Plus is not a replacement for a conventional oral cancer exam but an enhancement, detecting precancerous cells before they are visible to the unaided eye and are still in the easiest stage to treat. The ViziLite Plus with TBlue630 system includes the chemiluminescent light source (ViziLite) and TBlue630, a pharmaceutical-grade toludine blue-base metachromatic dye that further evaluates and monitors changes in lesions already identified by ViziLite.
