x-tra base

VOCO introduces x-tra base, a fast setting bulk-fill posterior composite that allows curing of 4 mm layers in 10 seconds when using the universal shade.

The 75% filled x-tra base has a low shrinkage stress and low shrinkage that combined with its high compressive strength (350 MPa) and flexural strength (133 MPa) makes it a perfect foundation for posterior fillings. X-tra base can therefore be used in the open and closed sandwich techniques. X-tra base is highly radiopaque (350% Al) for easy x-ray identification and is available in VOCO’s patented nondripping syringe or unit dose caps with extra long bendable metal tip in universal or A2 shade.
