ClearCorrect: Essential to My Digital Workflow

I had been prescribing another clear aligner system before bringing ClearCorrect into my practice about 4 years ago. I’m experiencing better communication with the ClearCorrect lab and a better overall process.

The big driver for me personally is the ability to submit digital scans. We have a digital practice and ClearCorrect has been open to working with scans for years. Not only am I able to submit a more accurate impression for the ClearCorrect prescription, but the process is just that much easier for both me and my patients.

In fact, the process, from beginning to end, is simple and streamlined. After consulting with the patient about clear aligner therapy, I take a full mouth digital scan, which typically takes about 10 minutes. I submit that scan to the ClearCorrect lab through the online doctor portal.

The treatment set-up comes in from the lab in 1 to 2 days. This quick turnaround is huge for my practice and my patients. The patient comes back in and I can show them what their smile will look like at the end of treatment and walk them through the all the treatment steps.

ClearCorrect helps create the treatment setup  (above) you want for your patient.

After the patient and I approve the treatment set-up, ClearCorrect manufactures the aligners, which are delivered to my practice in about 2 to 3 weeks. They send only a few aligners at a time. That way I’m not storing appliances that won’t be used right away, and if we do need to make any adjustments to the treatment plan, there is no wasted material.

The patient will come into the practice every 4 to 6 weeks throughout treatment so that we can make sure the aligners are fitting well and that movement is proceeding as we expected. If there is any problem, I just take a new scan and submit that to make corrections for the rest of the treatment.

Making ClearCorrect a part of my practice has been very simple with convenient access to free online training and a webinar series covering advanced and basic clear aligner treatment topics. In addition, the online portal for submitting cases, making changes, and requesting retainers is easy to use. It really is just a matter of a few clicks of the mouse. But I’m not just working with the online system. I have a dedicated account manager who can help me whenever I need, so I’m never stuck waiting in a queue of other doctors who have questions. That available communication and support is a big benefit of working with ClearCorrect.

These before and after photos of one of my patients (above) demonstrate gap and space improvement. The overall treatment goals were achieved using ClearCorrect clear aligner therapy.
