The dental division of the Zimmer Biomet Institute has reopened its training center in Parsippany, NJ. The 20,000-sq.-ft dental training center includes a simulation lab, cadaver lab, and lecture room, and provides scientific educational courses for dental clinicians from around the world who are interested in restorative, surgical, and regenerative procedures.
“We are thrilled to reopen our doors as the Zimmer Biomet Institute and excited to build on the foundation of your ability to provide dynamic professional training,” said Ken Varner, the Director of Institutes for Zimmer Biomet’s dental vision. “During our re-opening in Parsippany on February 10, clinicians were able to see first-hand the best in class dental training offerings available in our new facility.”
Zimmer Biomet Institutes in North America train more than 1,000 dental clinicians through more than 65 courses offered annually. Additional facilities are slated to open in China later this year and in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, in late 2017. The Carlsbad, CA, facility will move to an enhanced site in June. Existing facilities also operate in Bogota, Colombia, and Winterthur, Switzerland.
