GPS Overdenture System and Zirconia Abutments
IDSI's GPS Overdenture System and Zirconia Abutments
New prosthetic innovations from IDSI deliver superior performance in a convenient, all-in-one package.
Implant Direct Sybron International (IDSI) debuts its newest designed prosthetic options'the GPS overdenture attachment system and zirconia abutments.
GPS abutments and ancillary products provide complete overdenture attachment solutions with extensive prosthetic compatibility. Available in multiple LOCATOR-compatible prosthetic platforms, GPS abutments may be used with any IDSI system and most industry- standard internal-hex, tri-lobe, and octagon connection systems. Cuff heights range from 1 mmL to 5 mmL and color-coded nylon liners of varying retention levels are available.
The all-in-one packaging includes GPS abutment, transfer, metal housing with nylon liner, spacer, processing male, and comfort cap. The system also features a unique Core Tool for easy liner replacement. Regardless of the abutment-implant connection chosen, all GPS abutments are compatible with LOCATOR components.
Enhanced esthetics are easy with the new zirconia abutments. A gold anodized, titanium base provides not only structural support for the zirconia, but also helps maintain natural tooth color. Designed with 0-, 8-, and 15-degree angles as well as contoured margins and multiple collar heights, these zirconia abutments require minimal preparation'saving time and frustration. The abutment bases also may be purchased separately for custom abutment fabrication. 'Bob Alaburda
