Ultra Seal XT
Our office used Ultra Seal XT for many years. I have been in this office for 11 years and having been using this sealant since the beginning. It is very easy to use and flows nicely. I also never had an issue with it sticking. They don't often chip away. My only complaint is that you must also use the prima dry. The extra step with very small patients can sometimes make completing the sealants difficult. One less step would be nice, especially since most sealants are done on children under 7 years old.

Nice application tip but poor retention
The UltraSeal tends to result in decay under the sealant after a few years. This may be because the application was not done correctly and/or the desiccant was not used. If those applying sealants are going to skip the desiccant step required by the manufacturer, they should not use this product. In my opinion, it is worse to have decay get in under the sealant than it would have been to apply no sealant at all.
