JS Dental states that compared to conventional NiTi files, Xtreme instruments have been shown to withstand more than twice as much torque and angular deflection and 6 times the cyclical fatigue—and are more than 2.5 times as flexible. Xtreme instruments are available in both manual and engine-driven configurations, in lengths of 15 mm and 25 mm, and in sizes 15 through 40. They are sold in packages of 6 and include mm markings and rubber stops. In addition to the Xtreme line, JS Dental manufactures a full line of endodontic instruments, from economical stainless steel files and reamers (with or without stops and mm markings) to premium nickel titanium rotary instruments.
