Composi-Tight matrix forceps from Garrison Dental Solutions combines a 75° angled tip design for easy band placement and serrated tungsten carbide tips for extra gripping strength to aid in band removal.
The angled tip has an occlusal-gingival orientation and provides a more appropriate placement position than cotton forceps. The tungsten carbide tips offer stronger gripping ability than hemostats for removing matrices from tight contacts or bonded matrices. Composi-Tight matrix forceps are the first instruments to excel in both matrix placement and removal. The forceps are also available in a straight-tip design.
