DiaDent Group International, Inc
Featuring a lightweight and ergonomic design, D-Lux is portable and easy to use.
Having a powerful and easy-to-use curing light can significantly increase efficiency. With that in mind, there are several important factors any dentist should consider when shopping for a curing light.
The first is wavelength. Because most dental products contain camphorquinone (CPQ) as the photoinitiator, curing lights must offer wavelengths that include 465 nm, the wavelength at which CPQ is activated. The second sign of a good curing light is the ability to accurately distribute the energy at a high intensity; this allows for targeted, 1-shot curing. Other factors to consider include tip sizes, price, portability, weight, sturdiness, and look and feel.1
DiaDent?s D-Lux Cordless is an advanced cordless LED curing light. Made from high-quality aluminum, D-Lux dissipates heat quickly to prevent overheating and produces a maximum light intensity safely and consistently. Eleven dentist evaluators with a combined 240 years of experience participated in Dental Product Shopper?s evaluation of the D-Lux Cordless curing light. They rated several features, including ease of use, power intensity, ergonomics, size/weight, and overall satisfaction with the product.
