Product Description
The i-CAT FLX features Visual iQuity image technology to provide exceptionally clear 3D and 2D images, while the QuickScan+ reduces exposure resulting in a full-dentition 3D scan at a lower dose than a 2D panoramic image.* For control and flexibility, SmartScan STUDIO’s guided-workflow touchscreen interface and integrated acquisition system simplifies selection of the appropriate scan for each patient at the lowest acceptable (ALARA) radiation dose. It allows the clinician to choose from preset scan protocols and/or customize user-generated presets for simple and fast scanning. i-CAT’s Ergonomic Stability System (ESS) offers seated positioning, head stability, and adjustable seating controls to minimize patient movement and maximize the accuracy of the scanning process. ESS also enables easy access for patients in wheelchairs. Designed exclusively for i-CAT, Tx STUDIO enhances efficiency by providing immediate access to integrated treatment tools for implant planning, surgical guides, orthodontic planning, airway and TMJ analysis, and other applications. *Data on file.

All that thinking inevitably lead me to Googling and I came across what appears to me to be a really great resource. At the FDA site, they have a...
