Jet XR radiopaque acrylic from Lang Dental is designed to offer better clinical diagnostics where a radiopaque acrylic would be useful. Jet XR offers lab technicians a homogenous premixed, self-curing acrylic with barium sulfate.
Past practice has required the technician to mix in a radiopaque agent at the bench, which often leads to inconsistency in the mix, which could result in inadequate clinical diagnostics. Useful in identifying implant sites by the clinician, Jet XR can be fabricated easily and quickly into a provisional implant stent for clinical diagnostic radiographs. Jet XR is available in 2 opacities, opaque and shadow.
