Lew MDI Non-Collared O-Ball implant

Park Dental Research's Lew MDI O-Ball non-collared implant offers refinements intended to address the ease of placement and address the most common areas that have resulted in mini implants failing to integrate into patients’ jawbones. The Lew Mini dental implant is designed with a reverse buttress thread pattern.

This thread design provides for maximum resistance to prevent stripping of the bone while auto advancing the implant into bone that has no full depth osteotomy. This design allows the implant to press its way into the bone while providing resistance as a result of the the flat portion of the thread to stripping of the bone and exfoliation from the bone. The thickness of the patients gingival tissue determines if a collared implant should be used; if the thickness is less than 2.5 mm then the non-collared implant should be used. Lew MDI O-Ball non-collared implants are available in diameters of 2.0 and 2.5 mm and lengths of 10, 11, 13, 15 and 17 mm.
