The NTI-tss Plus Soft appliance is designed to protect natural dentition and restorations from the damaging effects of bruxing and clenching. The custom-fit NTI-tss Plus Soft consists of a hard-exterior/soft-interior thermoformed material and the clinically unbreakable Clear 450 DE (discluding element).

The hard/soft material simplifies delivery of the NTI-tss Plus Soft by minimizing the pressure placed on anterior restorations or slightly mobile teeth. The crystal Clear 450 DE enables the appliance to withstand forces from even the most intense parafunctional habits.

The NTI-tss Plus Soft’s standard design is extended to the 2nd bicuspids, ensuring sufficient retention (the traditional labfabricated NTI-tss Plus only covers the centrals and laterals). Although the shell of the appliance extends to the bicuspids, the NTI Soft’s DE still adheres to the NTI therapeutic protocol, guaranteeing canine and posterior disclusion in all excursions.

Containing no Bisphenol A, the NTI-tss Plus Soft requires minimal chairtime and offers maximum patient comfort for increased patient compliance. Indications include extreme crowding, worn restorations/natural dentition, slightly mobile teeth, and sensitive teeth.

All the lab needs from the practice is a full-arch die stone model or VPS impression along with the maximum protrusive measurement.
