Measure With Confidence
The Osstell ISQ for Implant Stability
The new Osstell ISQ measures implant stability and offers a number of convenient features for superior efficiency.
Osstell ISQ is the latest in a series of implant stability meters from Osstell. Like its predecessor'Osstell Mentor'the Osstell ISQ uses RFA (Resonance Frequency Analysis) as a method of measurement. The new version includes faster measuring results, updated firmware for increased efficiency and user-friendliness, improved, attractive design with back-lit display, built-in docking station, and less sensitivity to electromagnetic noise.
Measurements are displayed on the back-lit display at the point of measurement with the capacity to store up to 400 measurements in the instrument. The Data Manager software allows the clinician to enter patient data and store measurements on the computer. Measurements stored in the instrument are transferred to the computer via the built-in docking station.
The Osstell ISQ measures the stability of implants in an objective, noninvasive manner using the universal ISQ scale (Implant Stability Quotient). The ISQ values help dentists determine the optimal time to load each implant. Also, by detecting decreasing stability, Osstell ISQ can help prevent failure caused by premature loading. 'Bob Alaburda
