Plak Vac

A revolution in oral biofilm removal, Vista Dental’s Plak Vac is the only device specifically designed to remove biofilm from the patient’s tongue during prophylaxis and dispose of the build-up through high volume suction.

The Plak Vac is simple to use and takes about 30 seconds. After placing the Plak Vac in the high-speed suction, the hygienist uses it in a sweeping motion starting at the back of the tongue moving forward. This motion is repeated several times until the entire surface of the tongue is cleaned.
