Remin Pro strengthens and protects against demineralization of teeth while desensitizing.

Remin Pro is VOCO’s protective dental cream designed to provide gentle regeneration of the tooth substance and help neutralize acids caused by plaque. With its hydroxylapatite and fluoride content, it promotes natural remineralization and provides fortification of the dental enamel. Remin Pro minimizes sensitivity by placing a protective coating on the tooth substance. It smooths tooth surfaces with an enamel-filling effect and impedes the adherence of bacterial plaque.

Remin Pro combines 3 components for protection against demineralization and erosion: hydroxyapatite, fluoride, and xylitol. Hydroxyapatite—the main mineral component of natural tooth substance—fills the tiniest surface lesions in the tooth substance to prevent sensitivity. The tooth surfaces are simultaneously smoothed, so that harmful, bacterial plaque cannot easily settle.

The fluoride not only hardens the dental enamel, but it also ensures that the hydroxyapatite is converted into acid-resistant and remineralizing fluorapatite. The xylitol contained in Remin Pro also has cariostatic properties, because xylitol cannot be converted from cariogenic bacteria into the harmful metabolite lactic acid. —Bob Alaburda
