Successful sterilization of instruments and materials is critical for everyone’s safety. According to ISO standards and CDC infection control guidelines, items must be exposed to all 3 parameters of sterilization: time, temperature, and sterilant contact to ensure effective sterilization.

Because of limitations in technology, sterilization pouches have had only single parameter chemical indicators printed on either the inside and/or outside of the pouch. Although convenient, these “process” indicators only react to a single sterilization parameter (temperature) and do not completely guarantee all conditions of sterilization. Crosstex Sure-Check sterilization pouches are the first and only pouches that provide the assurance of confirming all 3 sterilization parameters with an internal multi-parameter steam indicator printed directly on the pouch.
Featuring triple seals, 3 separate heat-sealed rails prevent possible penetration or tearing by sharp instruments while the triple heat process produces a seal that is consistent, strong, and minimizes any shattering or tearing. Corner tack seals prevent curling and possible separation after sterilization and also prevent the collection of dust and other contaminants in the seal area.
