A hygienist who described the instruments as "lightweight and comfortable" went on to say, "I definitely noticed less hand fatigue while using them," and an evaluator who rated all features as excellent said she could "feel a noticeable improvement in how much better [my hands] felt."

When asked what they'd like to see improved, 1 evaluator said, "A little lighter would be nice," while 2 others remarked that the instruments might actually be a bit too light in weight. One of these hygienists, who cited light weight as one of her favorite features, described the instruments as "almost too light weight and flexible," noting that it "felt like it was bending with resistant calculus deposits, so I used it more for definitive scaling."

Several evaluators commented on ergonomics, with remarks such as, "I really liked the ergonomic shape of the handles very much," and, "They fit comfortably in your hands." A hygienist with 33 years of experience noted, "The handle grip felt secure in my hand, the handle indentations were in good locations, and the fit to my fingers was spot on." The same evaluator remarked that iris was "similar to the [instruments] I have used but yours are lighter and the handle is more ergonomic."

A Connecticut hygienist who found the instruments "very comfortable in my hand" suggested, "The handles might be made a little thicker (larger) so that they will be better for preventing clinician hand issues." Other suggestions included a textured gripping surface.
