Smaller Footprint

Weighing in at just 1.3 pounds, the ACCLEAN Ultrasonic Scaler features a conveniently small footprint of just under 6 inches long and about 3 inches high, which means the scaler is a perfect fit for space-challenged countertops. “The nice size means that less counter space is taken up and the unit is easier to move,” Cabral shared.

The scaler features an easily detachable, autoclavable handpiece sheath and user-friendly controls, features that are helpful to hygienists who find themselves using it for longer periods of time due to increased stain and calculus accumulation on patients who've missed appointments during the pandemic.

“I find the scaler to be more comfortable and easier to use than other ultrasonic scalers,” she explained.

A Host of Features

The ACCLEAN Ultrasonic Scaler features dual-frequency technology and accepts both 25K and 30K inserts, automatically detecting the inserts and then quickly integrating them into existing equipment. The unit’s Auto Gain Control technology maintains power throughout procedures. Additionally, a hands-free, on-demand boost mode can be activated by a foot pedal, a design feature that can provide additional force if it's needed when removing challenging stains and calculus.

Cruise Control Your Cleanings

In addition to user-friendly controls, ACCLEAN features a cruise-control option, another ergonomic benefit that allows hygienists to “select power and go” while not needing to apply continuous pressure on the foot pedal. The unit also features a 1-button purge mode that provides automatic line cleaning.
