If you’re hearing the sound of another metaphorical bar being raised, it’s probably coming from ClearPilot 6.0, the latest clear aligner treatment viewer software from ClearCorrect. Dr. Daniel C. Neves, an orthodontist in Curitiba, Brazil, believes this new and improved platform is the most game changing enhancement in the product’s history.

“This was a big jump, from 5.0 to the new 6.0, and I believe it’s the largest of all the prior software enhancements,” he said. “We now have more powerful tools to satisfy our patients’ curiosity about what’s next by showing them a plan for their future smile right now—even before the actual treatment begins.”

ClearPilot 6.0 also features an upgraded Bolton analysis feature with new measurement tools. “When working on an interdisciplinary case with a general practitioner who will be doing a crown or tooth augmentation, I can now see the exact amount of space that I need to leave for the restoration,” he shared.

Improved Treatment Visualization

Tooth shapes also can be built into the aligner to serve as space holders for missing or erupting teeth—a growing need due to an increasing population of patients who are adolescents.
