Cement with Confidence
Additionally, the cement's automix tip attachment saves time and adds convenience compared to traditional hand-mixed cement systems. “I really like the tips because they make it easier to dispense the material, and with less waste,” he said.
Clinicians also can tack cure the material for 5 seconds using a high-power LED curing light, and then gently use a scaler or explorer to remove any excess. "After tack cure, the cement seems to stay together and cleans up very easily," Dr. Davis assured. Alternatively, excess cement can be removed during the self-curing phase after about 90 seconds.
