A Convenient, Efficient Restorative Repair Solution
The Intraoral Repair Kit provides all materials necessary to repair broken or damaged intraoral restorations, offering convenience and cost-savings for the patient and practice
After spending hundreds of dollars on a crown, the last thing a patient wants to experience is a fracture or chip to this pricey investment. But when unexpected damage occurs, a dentist who’s equipped with BISCO’s Intraoral Repair Kit can save the day by efficiently and effectively repairing that restoration, avoiding another costly replacement.
That’s exactly why Dr. R.J. Sondkar adopted the Intraoral Repair Kit in his San Leandro, California practice. Calling the kit easy to use, Dr. Sonkdar appreciates being able to offer his patients a “quick-fix solution to repair or correct damaged restorations.” Because the kit includes all materials needed to repair most damaged restorations, he believes it is a convenient option and a valuable addition to his practice.
“The Intraoral Repair Kit is a BISCO-quality product at a reasonable price.”

What’s in the Kit?
A cost-effective, practical restorative solution, the Intraoral Repair Kit provides all materials necessary to repair the framework of broken or damaged intraoral restorations, allowing for an esthetic and durable final repair. The kit contains BISCO’s Z-PRIME Plus, Porcelain Primer, Porcelain Etchant (9.5% HF), Barrier Gel, Porcelain Bonding Resin, Opaquer Catalyst, Opaquer Base Universal, and all accessories needed to use these materials.
“The kit is comprehensive and has all the necessary components for most clinical repair scenarios,” shared Dr. Sondkar. Having the Intraoral Repair Kit available chairside is a convenient solution that saves time for him and his patients. “It makes minor repairs more feasible vs replacing the entire crown restoration and incurring lab costs,” Dr. Sondkar added.
A Versatile Solution for Clinical Success
The versatile Intraoral Repair Kit is ideal for repairing almost any type of restoration, including porcelain, lithium disilicate, porcelain-fused-to-metal, zirconia/alumina, and direct or indirect composite restorations. For Dr. Sonkdar, the kit comes in handy when he needs to “successfully repair minor fractured porcelain and chips in the anterior cosmetic zones.” In many cases, the Intraoral Repair Kit allows him to save a restoration, preventing the need for a new crown. For example, one of Dr. Sondkar’s patients chipped his porcelain crown on tooth No. 7 less than a year after it was placed. “Using the Intraoral Repair Kit to repair the chip was the most viable way to correct the problem vs making a new crown,” he explained.
A Quality Product at a Reasonable Price
A loyal BISCO customer who uses the manufacturer’s primers and etchants, as well as products from the TheraFamily of resin-modified calcium silicate materials, Dr. Sondkar concluded, “The Intraoral Repair Kit is a BISCO-quality product at a reasonable price.”
