With natural ingredients and no staining risk, OraSoothe offers a soothing solution for post-SRP care, mouth sores, extractions, burning tongue, and more
A Simple Process
An oral hydrogel wound dressing, OraSoothe Oral Coating Rinses feature a thick consistency that coats the oral mucosa, providing pain relief for wounds, mouth sores, mucositis, and before and after both dental and hygiene procedures. Dr. Renieris said she gives the rinse to patients with mouth sores and burning tongue, as well as after laser procedures and every SRP treatment.
SRP patients get a 3-ounce bottle of OraSoothe rinse in their goody bags and are told to use it twice a day until it’s gone, swishing for 30 seconds each time, Dr. Renieris said. The simple 1-step process is easy for patients to follow at home, giving them pain relief and faster healing. They're also told not to eat or drink anything for about 30 minutes.
None of her patients have complained about severe pain after an SRP procedure since she started using the rinse, which she noted is a good sign the product is doing its job.
