Because it securely bonds to enamel, dentin, metal, zirconia, aluminum oxide, and silicate ceramics without the need for extra primer, Dr. Maring can use it for her entire adhesive dentistry workf ow, while saving space on her once-crowded shelves.
Indicated for both direct and indirect restorations using any light-, self-, or dual-curing methacrylate-based restorative, core buildup, or cement, Futurabond U can be used with self-, selective-, or total-etch techniques. “When I first began practicing, I used Futurabond U and never had patients with postop sensitivity,” she explained. “After moving to another practice, which was not using Futurabond U, patients were reporting sensitivity. I was certain my technique had not changed, so we switched to Futurabond U, and I never again had patients with sensitivity issues!”
